We’re looking for your funny, odd, scandalous or furious stories about being a contractor for a series called 50 Shades of Contracting. This is your opportunity to tell everyone about that mental project manager, that one time you did the unthinkable or about the crazy things you see with the benefit of an outsider’s perspective within an organisation. All stories will be posted anonymously to protect the identity of the contractor. This is about having a bit of fun, and giving you the chance to talk about the crazy nature of the contract industry.

Submissions will be posted on contractr.net,community-based site for contract workers in the UK. Contractr is not associated with any specific product or service and any of the information collected will not be used for any other purpose. We highly encourage you to submit from an anonymous email address and to avoid using any personal details that could clearly identify the individuals you’re writing about.

We’re not looking for a set word count and short submissions are welcome. Please email your stories to 50shades@contractr.net.

  • And if you’d also like to contribute to Contractr in a less clandestine way, we’re always looking for the insider’s view. More information on how to get involved here, in The Sunday Times needs you – and so do we
